Social media claim on Monday, November 13, 2023, stated that the Vice President’s office was involved in a ‘10,000 bags of rice for Ramadan’ scandal.
The claim was made in an artwork purportedly shared by some social media users particularly on the X app. The artwork featured the image of the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and a background which looked like Ghanaweb.
The claim read “OSP documents show Bawumia’s office ‘stole’ 10,000 bags of rice for Ramadan donations.”
Political Fact Ghana after a search can confirm that the above claim is false and there is no such scandal, also there is no document from the Office of the Special Prosecutor that featured a scandal of that sort.
